5.27.09 Wednesday

So I went back to the Y for the first time since vacation---worked out for one hour--the instructor never showed up.

Then after that I ran to Petsmart to get some fish and plants for the new pond. The POTD is not too great but i got 7 fish (red mouth minnows--goldfish LOL), a snail and 4 water plants. There was no indication of what the plants really were or info on them. So I picked out the 3 I thought most attractive (I got 2 of one kind) and wrote down the names so I could look them up when I got home. One of them turns out to be sweet flag (a kinda iris looking thing) which is something I wanted to get anyway---so now we have 7 fish---waiting to see how the 12 cent each fish do before we put the big fish out there, 6 plants and a snail (gosh just about forgot the pollywog's and the mosquito larvae--which is what the fish are supposed to eat).

I took this picture today at the Y---because I think it is one of the most absurd signs I have ever seen. we asked Tommy (the Y guy LOL) about the sign---and he said that the spot is only designated as handicapped parking from 8 am-2pm. Any other time other people can park there. Now there is a large section of the parking lot that is designated as handicapped---but this is weird!

Friday at last! tonight's POTD the main sign at the Y--- i am really loving going there--having lots of fun--- not lost any weight but feel better. Losing weight would be good but i really am having a good time

YMCA

its fun to go to the YMCA Y----M ----C--- AAAAA --c'mon and sing it with me--OK I will stop LOL
today was the first day of the water aerobics class we have joined... it was a blast. The three of us laughed our fool heads off.
to top it off I put a padlock on my locker and then the key didn't work---so the girl at the desk had to come with bolt cutters and cut them off---sigh--- only to me would something like that happen to. And i had been paranoid about something like that happening and worried about it---- yep then it happened

Friday

today was auspicious in a couple of ways:

1. I joined the YMCA with a couple of ladies from work and we start AquaArobics on Monday. Hoping that the three of us together will keep each other motivated and ready to work it. Tina has arthritis and this is the best way for her to work out. She is getting married soon and wants to be fit and healthy. I just want to get healthy and feel good.



2. I stopped and bought some mini cans of paint to try in our bedroom. I love the colors I picked out--- however the lady at the store gave me two little cans of the same color....so tomorrow I have to go out and change one of the colors--grrrr. Such the POTD:
